My name is Brynne Simmons, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I have an established outpatient mental health practice in the Pittsburgh area, where I provide compassionate, client-centered care to individuals and families across their lifespan.
I am passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges, fostering resilience, and empowering individuals to create meaningful change. My practice focuses on collaboration, integrating supports when available, and tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs.

I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults. Over the years, I’ve supported clients across a wide range of settings, including schools, outpatient clinics, and structured residential programs.

Expertise in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), mood disorders, autism spectrum disorder, adjustment disorders, and developmental conditions
Support for children in foster care, coping with adoption, and navigating adjustment challenges
Guidance for families to navigate the educational system and connect to additional resources as needed
Strong belief in the power of family involvement as a key to treatment success
Help with adjusting to college life and balancing school, work, and personal responsibilities
Experience supporting students in technical programs, undergraduate studies, and graduate schools
Guidance through residency, internships, externships, fellowships, and career exploration
Specialized support for international students adjusting to cultural differences and life in the U.S.
Experience treating individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autistic disorders, and other mental health conditions
Support for clients navigating cultural transitions, racial identity, and maintaining cultural values
Expertise in coordinating appropriate levels of care and linking clients to additional community resources
